Residential real estate is where our operating history begins. Vista Verde provides a lasting home for investments, businesses, and tools that meet our standards as opportunities develop.
Privately owned, long-term oriented
Vista Verde Capital, LLC is based in Houston, Texas. We approach capital allocation as owners: understand the economics, protect against permanent loss, and consider the responsibilities that come with the asset.
Our broader mandate allows us to evaluate building, buying, or partnering. Each opportunity must justify the capital and attention it requires.
Our current activities
We currently own residential rental properties in Houston and develop internal analytical tools to support investment decisions. We also publish selected real-estate frameworks and a documented decision case.
Our website reflects this current work while leaving room for future activities. It does not represent an existing diversified portfolio across multiple operating industries.
Technology in service of ownership
Software, AI, and automation are tools for improving analysis and reducing repetitive work. We evaluate them by the usefulness of their outputs and the reliability of the resulting operations.
Building a system is one option. Acquiring an asset or working with an established operator may be a better use of capital.
